Metal: Hellsinger is a game I respected more than liked. The soundtrack is un-fucking-believable (and it was great to hear Mikael Stanne outside of Dark Tranquillity for change, his re-occuring boss song is great) and the game definitely has some fun to be had, but as it wore on I enjoyed it significantly less.
Part of it was the difficulty of the back half basically meant that, until you get good, get ready to listen to a whole lot of drum & bass and not much else lol
Still, a big achievement, and I even bought the dlc even though I didn't plan on playing it.

I do see that it could become quite annoying but I’m the kind of person who plays a song 100 times until she’s sick of it haha
there IS a sigil for keeping your fury above 2 I used so didn’t have to worry too much!
TOTALLY agree on Stanne, his were some of my favourite vocals!
